truth is I am just NEVER consistent~~ Change of life style is hard and miserable !!! I just looked at my weight history on here for the past 3 years and its just depressing I always wind up at square one and it's always back to the same weight. even when i did weight watchers 3 years ago the only reason i finally lost weight was because I literally cut my daily points in half and religiously walked 60 minutes a day. I have other responsibilities in life and hobbies so as soon as i take my focus off of my weight and into living my life, all the severe disipline just doesn't fit into my reality and lifestyle.

so what is the solution? hmmm I haven't figured it out yet and maybe I never will BUT I am going to keep trying.

People around me are so sick of me trying,talking about my next diet plan and failing that I don't have any support anymore.

Losing weight is a mental game and you can try 100 times and then it clicks on the 101 try. If it were easy we would all be skinny. Set a small goal of 3 weeks. Tell yourself you are going to stick with it for 3 weeks consistently. You can do anything for 3 weeks. Give yourself a non-food reward for sticking with it. Mark it on the calendar. Cross off each day. Get some fitness magazines. Put the scale in front of the fridge. Get active and do something else when you want to go off plan. It's about finding motivation and changing the way you think and feel about food. It takes 3 or more weeks to make a new habit. Give it a try and see what happens.

Great advice. I am trying to set a goal of one week at a time lol. this week I did really good in the food department now i need to get the exercise in with the diet. It seems I will either do good all week with working out and not good on the eating or do great all week with eating but not good on the exercise. I have stacks and stacks of fitness magazines and a scale in every room! lol~ I'm obsessed with losing weight but not losing. I always have these great plans of hiking or weight training, biking and i will do it for a few days then something in my life will happen and I get too busy. grrrr
