If you are exercising and eating that few calories, your body may need more fuel (calories) to burn the fat. Less is not always the solution. Have you used the Fat Secret tool to determine your needed calorie intake? Mine says 1900, which is way too much for me. I stay below 1500. Usually in the mid to high 1200's.

I’m at 1300, so I’m staying well below that level, but not much exercise - I’m old!

I took a quick look at your macro's and calorie intake. like all of us you bounce quite a bit with your calories, but the one thing I see pretty consistent is that you are way low on your proteins. as we mature it is important for us to have adequate amount of protein. I think the gov. site says minimum of 60 gms. so that is one suggestion I can make with what I see. I would also try to avoid those under 1000 calorie days. Since you seem to just be doing a reduced calorie diet and have days maybe you don't want to eat, pick up some kind of protein replacement meal that is not loaded with sugar to help supplement yourself. I am not a big advocate of artificial food but I know some people just don't want to bother cooking for one. and please being old has nothing to do with exercise, we may have to start slower and do less, but we can build up slowly. heck just minor floor exercise or lite dumbbell work is a start. early walks before it gets hot. there is always something you can do to get started. sorry to write a book, just trying to point out a couple things. I feel so much better with some exercise. I did nothing before I got started here.

Could be water retention. Track your sodium and water intake. Drinking lots of water will help against water weight gain. Get plenty of rest, too. Or could just be normal fluctuation. Your weight loss seems to me, so I'd not worry about it. What you're doing seems to be working. Keep it up! :)

What is your WOE? I count calories but TRY (don't always succeed) to limit processed foods. I keep calories usually between 800-1200 a day. More than 1200 and I'll gain. I also usually only eat 2 meals a day and eat between 7am and 2pm. There are lots of ways to lose weight. While I don't do a low carb diet, lots of people on this site do and they have influenced me, so I keep an eye on how many carbs I have and try not to go much above 100 grams a day. Unless it's carbs in non processed foods, like fruits and vegetables - then I don't worry about carbs. I know the ideal way for me to eat, but actually doing it isn't easy.
