To my surprise I am dropping good. How ever I am very diligent in recording my foods. Following with smaller portions and not eating unless I am hungry. I am moving and exercising. I have kept myself busy and not on that sofa until the evening. I have tuned myself into worship music instead of television. I have so much less pain in my body since I have become very active. Not to mention I sleep so sound. This adventure is a great feeling. Learning to channel into maintaining this endurance is next. God gives me the strength for it is not my own I am lazy by nature and would rather snuggle into the sofa and binge watch everything; along with sodas and bags of chips. I haven't even eaten any chips in three weeks. I think I will make some home made sweet potato chips. I also haven't eaten any fast food and I love those places so much. Discipline is a new thing for me. I still enjoy deserts or bread, but I made bite size biscuits and sugar free butter scotch with fat free milk. I only allow myself two tables spoons of that. I taste things for flavor or texture. I treat myself with a diet Mountaindew at the end of the week. I try to drink calorie free flavored water or water and black coffee.

To God be all the Glory for I am drawing from him. I acutally have reach that beginning that once you get there, you will try hard. I love the endorphins. Just keeping busy all through the day. Movement

You said something that hit me: "Discipline is a new thing for me." That's true for me, too. I'm so accustomed (and lucky enough) to be able to buy whatever food I want and be able to eat whenever I want. Limiting that excess is humbling. If God has given me this body, why am I treating it so shabbily? Laziness is not a virtue!
Making my own "convenience" food is not a hardship, but it takes time away from the lazy things I like to do. I've been training myself to get back in the swing of things. I used to be very disciplined when I homeschooled my kids, but working outside of the house full time has led me down some very lazy habits.
Being overweight is just a symptom of a much bigger problem in my life. I must conquer the "lazys".
