I already know it’s going to be a bad day today. Got news I didn’t get excepted to the college I need to get into. I guess my near 4.0 didn’t matter. I can’t decide I want pizza or chocolate cake for breakfast

That is the “defeatist mentality” - do not let that win! You have more strength than this. Stay focused even in the toughest of times. Take a deep breath and reconsider this choice. You are in control.

That sucks, but ask yourself.. is that pizza or cake or what ever going to help the situation? If not, then chose another action. If so, even as a temporary salve to spirit, then go for it with out guilt or recrimination. Enjoy it then get right back on track and look for another way forward to your goals. There are always multiple ways to the top of the mountain.

If they didn't want you the he** with them. There are plenty of good schools that take a bright strong woman. Goals take a lot of persistence so don't give up! And DON'T take it out on your body by binge eating. I'm sorry you are disappointed. It's ok to be sad for awhile but dust off and on to the next idea soon.

Hold your head up high & be proud of yourself because it's apparent you worked hard for that 4.0. Make a Plan B and get back out there because there maybe something even better for you. Good Luck! 🍀
