3 day split. back+deadlift , chest shoulders, legs and arms. once a week Friday Saturday Monday. If you want to lose weight and gain some muscle I can't stress enough that lifting weights will get you there faster than cardio. compound movements (squat/deadlift) require a lot of energy.

Ab roller, push-ups, sit-ups, and crunches in addition to 20-30 minutes' walking.

Sport practice 4x/week (1 hour each), running 3x/week (30 to 45 minutes each), conditioning (sport specific) 2 to 3/week (30 to 45 min each), weightlifting 1x/week not every week. (Off season I lift more often). And I try to get some walking as often as possible.

Thank you everyone for your input! I will definitely be adding things to my workouts. 😊 So far I was only doing workouts from my 30 day lose weight app & lifting weights for my arms 6x a week.

I lift light weights, walk, crunches, and some yoga moves, but I have no appetite, and eat only because I know I have too. You are probably just adding muscle!!

@dean195958 ya i think i have been adding muscle to my arms cause that's the most change I've seen & the scale keeps going back up every time I get back into lifting... so I need to start adding cardio into my mix cause I haven't been losing lately.

+1 Furbee3 --- lifting weights especially using a super-slow protocol is the most efficient, low risk, exercise that you can do for improving your health. Check out Body by Science by Doug McGuff, MD.
