First week with zero carbs done. Any hint of hunger was rewarded with a small meal.
At this point I feel stuffed, so I started intermittent fasting yesterday.
The first days did contain carb cravings. Yesterday the carb craving was absent. Feel optimistic about week 2.

the hardest part of carb cutting for me is the red wine :( I find replacing those carbs with healthier foods (meat, cheese, fats) keeps me feeling full so much more consistently. I really very rarely get cravings for bread, starches or sugars - even though I think I lived a few years off pasta and mashed potatoes. It's amazing how quickly our bodies adjust!

We are all a victim of the corrupt information that spread in the early 1960s.
I grew up on bread and milk for breakfast and lunch, and potatoes for dinner. Later, the potatoes got changed up with rice, corn and pasta, to prove that we were the new more 'international' generation.
Love those few pure hearted researchers today that bring us genuine data though internet, and help us understand how damaging these foods are.
I've found that transformation to a more youthful and joyful wellbeing is like many other things. It does not happen overnight, but is a gradual process.
Thing will only get better and better, week by week when the carb cravings loose it's grip. If the only thing you have to fight now is a bit of red wine, you have come a long way already. Congrats.
