I skipped dinner last night & my unofficial weight is 76.6 kg. Hopefully it will stay low until Friday's official weigh-in.

I've been skipping dinners lately also, and it helps!! But you do one meal a day, ne? And then I watched Cross fit work champs last night (Fittest in the world, on Netflix). And OH MY HAT!!!!!! I am sooo gonna start doing crossfit!!! wow-wow and WOW!!!! Those people are super amazing!! I hope your cf's going super well as well!! Wish I was already where u at!!

Hehehe Skinny. Yeah, I eat only once a day, so yesterday I ate nothing at all, I will only eat again today. Cross fit is great! I love it!

I’ve been trying to only eat one meal a day but it’s tough. I only eat dinner and the rest of the day I drink water. Do you think this health?

Yeah, I've been doing it for almost 2 years & I'm as fit as a fiddle, in fact, I haven't even had a cold since then. Don't quote me on that though, don't think it is related. Google Dr Jason Fung, then you can read up on fasting. I LOVE his articles.

how is eating one meal a day healthy? It will only mess up your metabolism totally and when you do eat, your body will hold onto it as it thinks it will be starved! This is the worst worst thing you can do, it can also mess up your blood sugar levels!

@Ashleigh, there is some new research & proof that what you are saying is a myth. There is a difference between starving & fasting. Let me know if you want some reading info, I can recommend a few sites. Or you can google fasting & especially Dr Jason Fung.

@leksie may i ask how you keep up with the intensity of crossfit on one meal a day? because I find that if I go into an intensive workout,especially when it is a heavy weights and cardio day because you know those sessions can go on for over an hour with the dynamic warm up included. I find myself getting light headed with two meals included in my day, how do you manage on one meal don't you run out of steam?

I've got a lot of fat to thrive on, I guess. I go in the morning, 5 am. I don't feel any different, in fact, I feel absolutely awesome after the session.

@leksie is your one meal consumed in the evening or the morning? I find it so hardcore because crossfit makes you haaaangry and the fact that you do it on one meal a day and haven't murdered anyone is a sheer miracle.

I only eat dinner. I think each person is different. I used to be a hangry person, but ever since I started fasting, I'm not hangry. As I've mentioned above, google Dr Jason Fung... He describes brilliantly how fasting works & he really changed my life. Even my husband were like, NO WAYS, he will get hunger headaches, then he saw me survive & all of a sudden he tried it, & never looked back!

If 1 meal a day is supposed to screw up your metabolism then having no meals in 40 hours should have destroyed my metabolism but it didn't :) Dr Jason Fung rocks! Dr Mike Mosley rocks! Dr Varady rocks! Google them and then one will understand how Leksie is not damaging her metabolism.

You aren't hungry because your metabolism is slowing down, but to each his own and if it's working for you guys then it's awesome.
