I am on a journey to a healthier life.
Initially when I started out it was all about weight loss, and I must say it's become less about weight loss and more about quality of life with weight loss being a bonus.

I have learnt so much about how feeding your body correctly can change your life and how becoming educated about what you need and what your body does for you can change your perspective.

One day at a time one step at a time to a better lifestyle it's taken a long time for the penny to drop and I'm not perfect but every day I'm trying

Hi
thank you guys it's good to know that there are people trying the same approach.
I am keeping an eye on my calorie intake for my height and weight, age and activity level.
I found what i used to do is I would amp up my activity and I wouldn't eat sufficient calories to sustain me because I wouldn't include my activity level in the calculations for my calories I don't know why somehow I thought active people ate more therefore I wouldn't burn as many calories as I could if I claimed I was sedentary and actually I was active this resulted in me being tired all the time which I think is a big factor in me giving up.
That's why I think this time I am going to be more honest with myself because there is no point in reducing your calories to the point where you can't perform.

Hi
I'm new to fat secret and I am in need of all the support I can get last year I lost 25kg's and was 3kg's from my goal weight when I lost interest and went into a spiral of junk food, sugar and carbs.
Causing me to gain a hell of a lot of weight and to feel rather despondent about life in general.
I am trying to take the steps to pick myself up again and move forward but I want to take a new approach I want to practice moderation versus dietary elimination. It's only my 2nd day of the undertaking and I obviously haven't wielded any results yet but I would be interested to hear from people who have taken the same approach.Smile
