scale batteries died, too lazy to replace them, but finally grabbed some when I HAD to get TP. A couple of Phys therapy sessions left for the Achilles surgery, been using the same guy all through it all: left Achilles, Right Knee, Right Achilles over the last 1-1/12 years and He told me at the last session how amazing I've changed in my condition.
With the Tendons, I need work on getting muscle tone back and breaking loose those toe/foot joints that hadn't had much movement in years.
With the knee, it's was the best thing I could of done (despite that one doctor NOT wanting to do it because he thought I was "to young"). My ROM (range of motion) is within a couple of degrees of a 'normal knee', but still more than is normally expected for a replacement.
And I was able to get this all done within the calendar year for all the insurance deductibles/tax write-offs/etc for filing.
(after all, that's how the game is played, the IRS squeezes me, I squeeze back and who ever ends up with the most juice wins!)
And If I can keep the weight down (the Zeppelin look doesn't good on me, Hindenburg, not the band) I might even spark up my mojo...groovy baby, shagadellic.
