Stress is horrible! Between both hubby and I looking for new jobs and trying to move to a different state, and being able to afford all of this, I am just stressed to the point where I want to pull my hair out!!

I stepped on the scale this morning and discovered that I had miraculously lost over 3 pounds- ish, that is a lot of bloat. Since I normally take about two or three days to even out I will not be recording my weight until tomorrow or Thursday, and if the stress doesn't completely demolish my diet it will be a miracle.

What I need is a random hand to give me glasses of wine...

Seriously, where do I get one of those?

There was no running last night. There was budgeting. And wine. And more budgeting. Budgeting would be so much easier if I were rich. Anyone else stumble across that realization?

What I am happy about today:
- Wine (don't judge me)
- Coffee
- the fact that air fare is now cheaper than driving
- Etsy.com
- Running
- This person's site, she is such and inspiration and she is always so freaking happy!!!

Take deep breathe and remember stress only causes more stress and increased expenses due to medical bills and broken household items. I work a very High Stress job and have a spoiled wife, a 9 year old and a 16 year old. Stress is a given but you have to remember to take a deep breath, grab that glass of wine and do what you can with what you have. There are only a few things in life that are truly important and that is yourself and your family.

rhodes is right. Balance is crucial, and also to acknowledge that there are some things that we can't control, therefore stressing over those things is a waste of energy. Easier said than doen, right?! Wine was my crutch this weekend-no judgements here!

I'm sorry you're so stressed out. We'll see if that weight loss is lasting enough to post - I bet it is. Budgeting would definitely be easier if one were rich. Take it easy on yourself! Maybe you need a nice relaxing dinner with a couple of indulgences and some more of that wine.
