Happy Monday everyone!! Did you all have a fantastic weekend?

I did :)

Friday night hubby and I stayed in and I did crafty stuff while drinking beer and watching Mob Wives. Hubby was drinking, watching me and making a drinking game out of Mob Wives. He was a tad fuzzy on the exact rules, but this is what I was able to figure out:

You take a drink every time ...
- ... someone says "It's about me"
- ... someone says "I hate drama"
- ... every time there is hair pulling
- ... Renee freaks out about crumbs (or something equally ridiculous)
- ... Karen tries to start something because she is bored

Yeah- we are classy like that. I did not run on Friday.

Saturday I ran almost five miles, with an average time of 8 minutes 34 seconds per mile. I was busy with crafty stuff still... hehehehe, I was inspired by Lindsey with her art club to get off my butt and do something with my crafts so I was busy scheming and playing all weekend- I will let you all know what I was up to in a day or so :) Partially because I want to be all secretive.... mainly because I am too tired to write much more. But there is a picture below that is a result of Friday night:

At least one person will know what those are! LOL

Sunday I had a family dinner, at Olive Garden which meant wine and pasta. But since this is the last time I will see my little brother for who knows how long I didn't care- I ate the pasta (all of it, but at least I ordered a lunch size portion) and drank my wine. It was so much fun to see everyone!

Sunday I also ran five miles. And, drum roll please, my average time was 7 minutes 40 seconds per mile!!! It is a new personal best and I am sooooo happy!

I stepped on the scale and saw how much bloat the beer, pasta, and wine added to my body. Seriously gross- I was not impressed. Good thing today is a new day!

Marlow is not impressed by Mondays.

He is not really impressed by much though, so I am not worried.

Have a wonderful Monday everyone!!

XOXOXO

[EDIT: I forgot to do my happy list today!]

Things I am happy about today:
- the sunshine
- warm summer weather
- text messages
- eggs (they are delicious)
- being able to thing back on the weekend and smile
- this new brand of nail polish that doesn't chip and is only $1.99 a bottle (thank you Walgreens)
- finding some running skirts on sale so I don't have too sweat to death in capris when running
- discovering that Kohl's has really cute workout clothes that are not uber expensive

7 minutes and 40 seconds? Did anyone tell you that you KICK ASS???!!! In my dreams I can run that fast. I wouldn't worry about your indulgence at Olive Garden with wine and pasta - you don't indulge like that very often, so once in a while is nothing to feel guilty or freak out about. Buying new workout clothes is so motivating - I had no idea that it would be until I bought a bunch of new ones for myself and felt so much better working out in something I actually liked to wear.

Whoa. You are faster than a speeding bullet. I think I ran a 7:40 mile once, for a tenth of a mile. lol. just kidding, another slow friend enjoys throwing that phrase out for other people's fast times!
