You are funny--I don't think I see one plateau on your chart!! I don't think a couple of days at the same weight counts as a plateau...don't you have to be at the same weight for a while? You stress yourself out too much! :) That's probably why you're doing SO GREAT though...you are the picture of determination. :) Congrats, Jen!

Thanks! I consider it a plateau if I'm really busting my butt and my weight stays the same for 2 weeks or longer. I hit one at 247, another at 237 and a mini one at 223. Even though I did everything right last week I couldn't seem to get underneath it until I did that extreme 1 hour on the Beast last night. But I definitely appreciate the encouragement! I'm hoping to get back to losing 2+ lbs a week again. I have so far to go still...but I know I'll get there!!!

Yes--two weeks or longer IS super frustrating. It's funny that it seems to happen almost every 10 pounds for you. The weight just can't hang on in the face of the beast though, can it? I know you have so far to go but wow...there's just no stopping you...*I* know you'll get there, too. I'd put money on this one! I'm in "slow and steady wins the race" mode right now...I need you to send me your motivation and determination!!!

That's very sweet of you Challenge. I look at it with the same outlook I used to quit smoking. Robin Williams *yes I said Robin Williams* had a great line in a movie once. He said either you're a smoker or a non-smoker, you can't be both. If you want to quit smoking - tell yourself I'm a non-smoker and quit. I apply that to my weight loss by telling myself "I'm not going to feel sorry for myself for being overweight. I am an active, healthy person." So that even on the days when I really am not motivated, I just repeat my mantra and get off my butt and move. When it comes to food, I plan everything the night before so I'm not tempted to eat something unhealthy. Plus, it's all food I really like so I don't feel deprived. You are doing a great job too! Slow and steady is way better than not moving at all or going in the other direction. Give yourself some credit!
