Okay I know this may SOUND crazy but it's a must. I need to lose or close to 30lbs by Easter. so I can look nice for once. so I hope I can do it. its hard to workout with my bursitis.. if the rain holds out ill go for a walk . hope my hip holds out. I hope i can lose 30lbs in 40 days
184.2 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 54.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I started eating differently January 10th... Vegetarian Keto. I have lost 20lbs as of Feb 16th. I am not starving myself or doing anything extreme. I literally just keep my carbs below 30 total grams a day. I eat lots of eggs, butter, cheese, and at least 1 very large spinach salad a day. I don't eat after 7 pm and don't eat breakfast until 11am. So that is 14 fasting hours a day. But I still eat three times a day most days. I also don't drink anything but water. Around 64 oz a day. BUT keto isn't something that I can decide just to stop doing and expect to keep the weight off. It is a life style change. No bread, no sugar.... I was already a vegetarian, I am not suggesting that you should do vegetarian keto. Most people who do keto eat lots of meat and do well. Good luck and even if you don't meet your goal when you want it's ok, you can hit your end goal within time if you stick to your guns in whatever diet you choose

Thanks Hippymom. I love pasta and bread so that will be hard.. I like chicken and tuna. I can eat lots of veggies and fruits and eat red meat 2 a month. Sounds easy but I'm sure its not has easy as it sounds. Congrats on your weight loss!!! I love water!!!! Thanks I hope I can lose some weight.

You have a sweet tooth, love pasta and bread so it will be hard. Of course it will be hard! No one with a weight problem finds getting the weight under control easy-it requires changing what you are doing! I've tried every diet over the last 40 years and they all work: they all change the amount or type of food you're eating. It would be glib to say-pick one. But-that's what I'm saying. One will work for you better than the others. Then stick with it. Since you want to make a change, and not have to do this again, make it one you can stick with for the weight loss, and then stick with. Yes, forever! YOU CAN DO THIS! Do some research, figure out what you want to do, do the grocery shoping, throw out everything you can't eat. Learn to say no. Accept you will slip up occasionally. Yes it's work: BUT YOU ARE TOTALLY WORTH IT. Lecture over.

Hi Tigerlilly, Thankyou for signing on as a Friend & Follower. Now here's what you signed on for my recommendations. First of all l didn't read every blog and l might have missed some other good advice but my eyes caught a few that resonates with me. First I'll say if this is all just wishful thinking then you'll be where your at now come 40days. Lent is about making sacrifice's.So listen up, No magic pill or unhealthy starvation like what Ann Marnae says is going to do you any good. Kahaz, is correct you will be spinning your wheels is you can't put down the bread and candy etc.to aid you for your goal""that's the sacrifice"" and or if your rolling in the dough then skip all this and have surgery like Patty says. Losing healthily 2-3lbs is possible but a tall perfect order like Peasy said...can you see a picture forming.lts a tall order but possible.Now l can say this or l can say that, long turn yes but of the time frame, l personally believe you should contact Diablo 360x he's a down to earth trainer and very knowledgeable on ways of putting you into a successful plan.l'm sure he will assist you for your concerns go into his blog and contact him cause we don't want you tie in up this site.hahaha Make it Happen We Will Be Cheering You On!😀

@Tigerlilly Find a plan that you can live with, and plan your groceries and meals around that. KETO, Calorie Counting, South Beach or something else, everyone is here to support each other regardless of what type of plan you're on. I'm in the same boat, I need to lose another 30 lbs by Memorial day weekend, but we can do it!
