I'm thinking I may not work out today. I still feel horrible but I'm going back to the doctor tomorrow. My husband seems to think that I'm pushing myself too hard with my intense cardio everyday and that's why I'm still sick. I think it's just allergies but who knows? I'm going to drink lots of water today and if I feel up to it, I'll tackle the Beast for 30 minutes later today.

Rest is good for you. If you feel crappy, take care of yourself and get rest. No need to feel compelled to exercise every single day. In fact, I think it is better for you to get 1-2 days of rest a week so your body has time to recover. Better to do 5 intense workouts where you give it your all than 7 where you're dragging your feet, you know?

You have a point. I guess deep down I'm just terrified that if I don't work out today maybe I won't tomorrow and then I'll end up being a bump on a log again. I KNOW I've changed but that fear is still there...

I have the same fear as you I try to get in an hour a day and if I don't I feel like I'm gonna quit. But I never do it only makes me try harder. Hope you feel better.

You can do it! Trust yourself :) You can find a happy medium between bump on a log and working out so much you make yourself overly tired.

Hey--you've been seriously impressing me by the fact that you haven't been deterred this whole time with a sinus infection--I was wondering how you were doing it. But it's true that our bodies need rest to heal...give yourself a day or two and then jump back on to conquer the beast once again. I was convinced those antibiotics were going to work...maybe it is allergies...and that's terrible because there's no magic bullet for those...at least not in my world. Feel better and take it easy-ish. :)

Thanks so much everyone. I decided to cut myself some slack and stick to tackling only the laundry today :)
