It has been a hectic morning, so I posted my weight from my phone earlier. Now I have access to the tablet where it is easier to write. The evidence of weight loss excited me. I shall try more of this absence of solid food. It also pleases me that my ketones are now showing up.

I wanted to buy some pepperoni at the grocery store this morning, but it was not obvious to me where they hid it. I may attempt keto pizza this week with some of the freeze dried pork sausage I have. If I had not been with my dad, I would have taken a picture of the meal I had at Acapulco House yesterday. They have one dish I can eat! Tex-Mex Plate comes with the standard beans and rice with tortillas on the side. I gave the beans and tortillas to my sister and the rice to her husband. We agreed ahead of time that they would order a la carte and consume my high carb sides. All the empty plates really pleased my frugal father. (He also hates cell phones, thus no enticing pictures of the greasy grilled food.)

Personal victories include a change in attitude. The chips and salsa looked good, and usually they overwhelm me. I realized, however, that it was only out of habit that I wanted to eat them. I did not miss them! This morning, I tested this by walking through the bakery department at the grocery. They bake their own treats there, but not even the smell tempted me. Instead, the smell of sugar sickened me. WooHoo! I have arrived!
