We met some friends for drinks last night (but stayed under my calorie cap!) and I received so many compliments on my weight loss. Sometimes seeing it take so long just to lose a half a pound or a pound can be discouraging but when people around you start to notice, it really brings it home that it's working. Besides, I tell myself that if I lost the weight too quickly my skin would just droop everywhere! I'm staying motivated and now that my husband decided to come on board, it's much easier than it was before. Still, I keep hoping for a miraculous 3 lbs a week to come off! Oh well, I will take what I can get and keep trying. Besides, I have started to see the muscle development in my legs and abs so I know that I'm not only losing weight but I'm building muscle. So, in short, I am still motivated!
