Damselfly's Journal, 13 March 2010

I slept today. Went to bed after work at around 0900 and back up at 1230. Ran those daily errands in my jammies as I was way too tired to get my body to the gym. Back home I fell in bed at 1415 planning to sleep until 2145 and then get dinner before work. While I stayed in bed the entire time I was in a constant state of unrest, tossing and turning. When the alarm sounded I hit snooze twice waiting for the music to start on the computer in the next room. As I lay there waiting I realized I that I had to get up and get a move on. I was already giving up dinner or whatever meal comes after seven hours in bed.

This is getting harder and harder these days. I am tired of going to work. I feel like my life is neglected in deference to working. I am completely out of balance. Significantly, it is my inability to get sufficient sleep in a single cycle that interfers with the rest of my off time.
