moogiemynes's Journal, 11 October 2017

I watched a video interview with a T1 diabetic who was on a very low carb lifestyle. He said that his bg stayed under 70 continually. (Insert a series of shocked expletives.) When mine gets near 80, my head pounds, and if it goes lower, my mind slips into paranoid lala land. He was short on the details of how to get to this mythical happiness land where blood glucose ceases to matter! I want to go there. I want the headache to quit being my signal to eat. I need to study this further. Fellow diabetics, wouldn't it be fantastic to get to the place where we can dispense with shots, meds, finger pokes, and weird, scary symptoms?

Low carb seems to be getting me there slowly. I do not take any chemical medication. My bg this morning was 114 on the funky meter, and I had a slight headache. Low carb lunch helped. My eating window started at 11 am today, so it will end at three. Later, I can tell you about the trips I have been planning.
