So im feeling frustrated the app here is adding way too many carbs for my entries. the meal bar is 3 net carbs not 13 and the snack 2 not 10. so my carb count according to my food is 18 over......calories and sugar spot on!

How are your settings configured? The graphics and calculations at the bottom of the food diary reflect total carbs, unfortunately, and that setting can't be changed yet. BUT you can choose which columns are shown, and make one of them net carbs. Is that what you meant?

no i meant its adding way more carbs than is actually in the food....LOL i track fat carbs protein and sugar. i wish we could adjust but if i put 1/2 to fix carbs calories are not right.

Oh, that's not good! Sometimes the entries are incorrect in the database. I've corrected a few, and otherwise just created new entries using the numbers on the packaging in front of me.

Yeah .. what T8U9 said! I've also found and corrected some errors .. and also have learned to be especially cautious of the cooked items in the database because they have ingredients you might not realize or suspect (although they are listed at the bottom of the page). The 13 vs 3 thing could have just been a typo when whoever entered it, and you can edit it. Bear in mind that many/most of the items were entered by users ("crowd sourcing") and there is no verification/validation, so it is always best to verify.

I've corrected quite a few database entries. Actually, they may not be errors. Manufacturers change their recipes over time. I've run across a few that actually became worse than their database entry. Most get better however.

I've ran in to that scenario before as well. What I usually do (easy way out, per se) is log a decimal of the actual item - example: if I have a cracker from a pack of six, that usually fall out of a vending machine, I enter 0.2.
