Prayer is my cornerstone. It becomes the mental life preserver I need when the world seems dark and unfathomable to me. I have long since been drawn to music, and the element of Worship in my life is ongoing, continual, and 'gets me through'.
Do we recognize our blessings? Do we even comprehend? So many times in my life.. I have not.
We are given this gift of 'Life' - and how we choose to live day to day, moment by moment...becomes far more important when you recognize the giver.
I won't pretend to understand it all - just counting myself blessed this morning. Shaken a bit by the weekend and the abhorrent evil that exists in this world.
There is a balance of Justice and Mercy.
As a culture, as a nation, as one individual in a world population - I will pray - to end the 'demand' that creates this ugly, vile condition.
I will likely ACT - but not today. Today, I will pray.
Hope you are well. Hope your children are well. Some people's are not. Pray for them.
