I'm still not running on the treadmill...i have a sprained ankle and you wouldn't believe how it hurts when you try to run on it! I even tried wrapping myself up like a mummy and then heading over to the treadmill, but even that plan falls apart! oh well! the good news is that i'm seriously kicking some butt in the gym. My buddy and I are both strong personality types. Neither of us want to lose a race to the other, so we are constantly competing and fighting for the #1 position. Yesterday the fight got so intense to be in first place that we both left the place feeling nauseous and could hardly walk. Even the gym trainers came up and asked us what the heck we were doing! AT least we didn't yell at each other, cuz we've done that too! (it's cuz sometimes SHE cheats!)

still, no matter how exciting you try to make your time in that little neighborhood gym, it can still be wearing on the nerves, feeling pent up and all...SO TODAY......

WE ARE GOING TO THE SKATING RINK AND SEE HOW MANY LAPS WE CAN DO DURING THE 6-8PM SESSION! I know it's going to be hilarious. my buddy is a dancing queen, or so she likes to think! I can already picture her busting out some smooth moves and then all of a sudden, lose her balance and go skidding all over, quickly regain her posture...AND THEN GO BACK TO DANCING LIKE NOTHING EVER HAPPENED! I CAN'T WAIT!! GOODBYE FAT, GOODBYE ROLLS, GOODBYE COTTAGE CHEESE!!!
