Finally... I think I might be back on track. This has been a difficult summer for me. I think I was feeling a bit rebellious. It's so hard sometimes to confront that I can't splurge on anything I really love to eat without getting sick from the splurge. I LOVE ice cream. I LOVE cheesy gooey things like lasagna. I LOVE pasta. Before the IBS, I could have one splurge meal per week involving any or all of these things, and that one splurge meal kept me on track the rest of the time. Now I have to look at my calendar before I eat any of those things because I will have to stay home close to a bathroom after the fact. So I think I just got frustrated and angry this summer, and I found myself splurging and getting sick repeatedly, which is really not a good idea. So now I've kind of exhausted all that frustration, and I'm getting back to reality. I know I want to lose more weight -- certainly 15 pounds -- and I want to get back to being more active. So... here we go again. Still not planning to weigh in until 9-30. Hoping by that time my weight will come in at about what it was when I went AWOL.

Awwww, Hermoines Mom. So happy to see you posting again and trying to get back into the game. I have been doing the same. I haven't been rebellious, just busy worrying about other people's health in the family and getting my mom's condo ready for sale. Let's get back to it, shall we?
