Up and on the elliptical for 30 minutes early this morning. 30 minutes doesn't seem long at all if I'm out mowing the lawn or building something, but the elliptical . . . that's like watching paint dry. It's not my favorite form of entertainment, but I need to do something aerobic on days I don't run. I'm glad it's friday. I have been looking forward to getting a lot of things done this weekend - or I should say tomorrow. Sunday is supposed to be such a beautiful day that, after church, I just might have to get out on one of the motorcycles - the trike if DW goes with me, or the Sportster if she doesn't. Monday is my wife's birthday. Since I gave her me on her birthday 30 years ago, it's also our anniversary. So, I'm taking Monday off from work. She loves sushi, so we're going to one of those hibachi/sushi Japanese restaurants. I could take or leave sushi, but have no objections at all to grilled steak. Should be a hoot.

Awe. Congrats on 30 years together. Thats awesome. Hope to have that someday - sushi & a 30th anniversary. Oh, and smart move getting married on her birthday. You only have ONE important date to remember, not TWO! ;-)

Wow 30 years is good..I will be married to my man for 38 come May..right after his birthday...we got married when I was 6 and he was 5 ..LOL...Enjoy buddy....:O)

Happy early Birthday to your wife, and Happy Anniversary to both of you. 30 years is quite an achievement these days. I imagine your marriage is filled with DK humour that we've come to know and love. You must keep your wife in laughter. Have a great sushi/steak celebration.
