I think I have the strangest metabolism! LOL! All things considered - I don't really know exactly why I am in a losing pattern. Basically, I eat low carb, pay no attention to how much of anything - just making sure I eat protein, and salad or veggies, or both, at each meal. Throw in an occasional snack (also low carb - also protein/veggie/or healthy fat) - then add in HOLDING MYSELF BACK from exercising too much!!! and that's what my last two to three weeks have looked like.

Every other day - 20-30 min's at the gym - then on to a life that is rapidly spinning out of control (it's that busy!)

Who the heck knew it was this simple? And why didn't you tell me!!!

This is why I drill the point home - to know your plan!!! KNOW it inside and out - and embrace it - LIVE IT - don't buy what you can't eat, don't make what you can't eat, don't indulge in what isn't on your plan... YOU are in a weight LOSS phase, not a maintenance phase YET!

(well, except for Keld and Skinny and a few others!)

But you have to be willing to walk the walk...and let time snowball into creating an advantage in your system. Nothing works overnight really! But let a few days accummulate into a week of really healthy eating - of watching what you're doing - and then let yourself downshift a gear or two, and head into autopilot. (only if you are really and faithfully following your plan 100%). Take your mind off of it and just DO IT as second nature.

Get outside every day. Do something every day. Doesn't have to be much, but it should be something.

How do you stay so positive?! I went from doing nothing for exercise to a running program and logging everything I eat, yet I continue to lose 1-2 lbs..here and there!!! So frustrating. You would think with so much to lose, it should just start falling off ! ***congratulations to you though*** how wonderful it must feel!!! ;)
