Three weeks after I get my first flu shot I get the worst "cold" I've ever had. What the??? I've been sick for the past 2 days, basically been mainlining AIRBORNE and ZYCAM like I own stock in both companies. I felt better today but still have a fever. The beauty of a fever is it burns a lot of calories while you're just lounging around (miserably). I'm not sure it's worth it. I've been watching TV for two days straight and this is the third Hoser on DEAL OR NO DEAL I'm about to watch blow it all....Sneeze. Hope everyone else is doing a little better on your side of the net. On the upshot, I'm down a couple more pounds...

You probably caught the flu from the shot. I hate that. I know you're encouraged to get the shot, but I think I do better not getting it! I know I'm young, so maybe that's it, but still I haven't been sick really this season, so hopefully that will stay the same! Hope you feel better soon, and congrats on the weight loss, even if it is from horrible fevers!

congrats on the weight loss, CK!! You're in the 100's now and moving so steadily, you've got to be very proud of your efforts! Just looking at your bar graph up there...it is perfectly slanted!! Downward! :)

Hope you're feeling better now and that your weight loss is continuing. I empathise, because I've just come down with the most hideous cold - just in time for Christmas! Am currently fighting my usual urge to eat that comes with feeling unwell. Have a great final pre-Christmas weekend! :)
