A month out from surgery and everything seems to be falling into place <knock on wood>.
1. Talked to the physical therapy place I went to after the achilles surgery and gave them a heads up.
2 Talked to comfort keepers about getting someone to drive me from St Helena back here (2 1/2 hours away).
3 Picked up the Hebiclens the surgeon wanted me to use.
4 Grabbed a walker from goodwill (to save $$, since I only need it temporarily).
5 Have the days I need to stop taking each of the meds and supplements so my system is clean.
All that's left is talking to some of nursing facilities around here to see if they can take me, call the hospital to see if I can check in Sunday night and call the vet to cancel the birds visit, it's on Saturday and the vet puts him out to examine him so he's groggy the rest of the day THEN to drag him to boarding THEN take myself to surgery would be too much.
