I just realized it's been more than a month since I last binged / severely overate. I've been on and off keto for that time, mostly straddling the fence. But even when I'm barely losing any weight at all, my mental health and emotional response to food is greatly improving. Not every victory is a number on the scale. Very thankful for the progress, sing praises every day~

A splurge every once and a while, won't kill you, it'll just slow you down. I totally agree, that my whole outlook on food has changed and I feel so much better. I actually crave veggies, sometimes, which is just bizarre for me; a former sugarholic. You got this. :-)

Well done - not binging is good - I've moved the pork rinds to the garage - but still keep on wandering out there to get some - perhaps it's not binging but it's not good either. I keep telling myself that I will stop!!

Minitata just ake sure you don't experiment with them, you'll never stop... I like to dip them in melted butter. Or melted butter that has cinnamon to remind me of those cinna-twists or whatever they're called at Taco Bell. Andi I was eating canned spinach and I was like... wth is this tasty thing I've forgotten?! I used to be such a spinach snob, only eat fresh or frozen. Now even the canned stuff is amazing. :) I have no freezer space for frozen so as long as I stay away from the fresh kale / collards/ spinach, I'll stay very happy with canned for a long time. I don't know any better. :)

Splurging is natural, the trick is to be able to say 'Ok, I had a REALLY good time eating whatever I wanted, butnow it's time to STOP and get back on track.' I try to schedule my splurging, like I know that I'm going to be on vacation in July so I won't be having a cheat day until then. I figured I'll save them and use them all in one week, ha ha! It's very true that not all victories are based on the number on the scale. Sometimes it's just being able to turn something down that's a temptation, and saying to yourself "I'm stronger than that" Great feeling, isn't it? Celebrate the victory, large and small!

It's the healthy in a WOE as opposed to Diet. Relearning that we aren't really about the numbers, but about what is good, or bad for the body we live in.
