You really are on a roller coaster - - so proud of your son (nothing better then being proud of a kid!) and health problems with your mom (sometimes nothing scarier than medical problems). Times of stress (even good stress) are hard on the eating plan - hope you're managing to take care of yourself.

You've got my prayers too. Hope everything went well for your mom today. And your friend- what a horrible situation. Hope things there get back under control and maybe it's the lesson needed for the kid to make a positive impact rippling outward at some point in the future. (Did that even make sense?) Also CONGRATS to your son and you for raising him well. :)
