Dear Friends, it is a Blue Wednesday. I am very tempted to indulge in the wrong foods. I am feeling very emotional at this time, due to a lot of stress at work for the past week or longer and a spat with the hubby last night. So, we are not on speaking terms and of course I want to turn to food for comfort. Plus it is raining here today, which affects the mood. Pray that I stay strong because I want to face the scales in the morning knowing I did everything I could do. Plus, I feel that I will start seeing more positive results very soon and I don't want to mess that up, to be close and then have to start over.

BeaugezD: You have part of your answer in the last part of your entry - "I don't want to mess that up ... and then have to start over." I know how you're feeling, I'm an emotional eater as well ... carbs have been my go-to to relieve stress or to simply cheer me up for a long time. You know what doesn't cheer me up? You know what stresses me out? Being fat! Stay strong ... eating the food you shouldn't won't help the situation (will actually make you feel worse in the long run) and think of how PROUD you'll be of yourself when you persevere!

Thanks Shewiz, you are correct, fat stresses me out more too...Besides I want to wear shorts this summer too....
