Having a rough go with the elder care...I just feel like crying. My husband took care of his mom all weekend, and I think that made it harder for me to get into it today....My Dad really seemed to get under my skin for no apparent reason...well, there were reasons, but nothing big...It's just me. I banged my shin really hard getting into my car after leving my dad's place and cried all the way home...it was a good release.... I'm tired of the vigilance and hourly "duty" calls and all that goes with this commitment.

HEY!!!! On the bright side, I have not strayed from my healthy eating and have had no cravings or cave-ins!!!! THERE IS A DIET GOD after all!!!

Keep the faith my friends!

Elder care is not easy and yes, very stressful. Nothing is better than a good release in stressful times. Congrats on not turning to unhealthy choices. Keep sharing love and you won't have any regrets...

Aw, sorry you're having a rough time of it. :( It's a tough job, and can be pretty thankless at times. I'm proud of you for sticking to your plan, diet-wise, in the face of it! No comfort eating for you!

Going thru the same stuff with my mom. Very hard. Hang in there. I need my workouts but I'll admit to crying at least once per week. I guess I use it for more stress relief. You are in my prayers!
