RoseFlorida's Journal, 03 March 2017

Long, long day today. I drove to pick up my uncle's gf (baby momma, now engaged, will be wife 4) to take her thrift store shopping. I should mention she is 22 and my uncle is 50. Long day, no need to post details, trust me. I did buy 2 workout tops (large, not xl, tight but fits), a pair of workout shorts, and a pair of comfy lounge pants (large, not xl and they fit!) for myself though.

After 5 hours out, I got home and made Zuppa Toscana (low carb) since I ran out. My husband texted me do I want Moe's steak for him to bring home? Cool, one less thing for me to do tonight. Since the meat has been cooked in sugar I only took a bite and ate Zuppa for dinner. I just checked the carbs, only 2 I could have had it. Oh well. His work had a catered lunch and this was leftover so he could take it home.

Hubby has a dragon boat race tomorrow. I am going all day with him. I will be bored and have to pack a bunch of stuff tonight. Water, beer, prep some stuff, and grab the veggie tray and cheese ball in the morning. I have to bring food for me to eat since I'm pretty sure the food trucks at Mira Bay won't be low carb. They haven't been since I started going. I'm also bringing coffee for the morning. I'll bring a pumping carafe one so everyone can have some (but I'll only bring little cups for them, so mean)

I still have some sunburn so I was not upset when I weighed in this morning the same. I didn't update it here since it was the same. I must remember sunscreen tomorrow or it will be worse. I'll have to grab it tonight.
I still have a bunch of stuff to do tonight but I'll pop on and off to read journals.

Veggie tray is ready, cheese ball is ready, beer (low carb) is packed, water packed, son's 1 soda allowed packed, lunch is bagged and ready to throw in cooler, snack packed, coffee stuff is packed, coffee carafe is ready to go. I think I have everything but the actual coffee for tomorrow ready to go. All the cold stuff is together in the fridge ready to go in the cooler, water and other drinks are sitting in the cooler waiting for ice. Should be an easy out morning (knock on wood). Brew coffee, shower, dress, pour into carafe and leave I hope.

Great posters, once again! Maybe you need one of those shelter tents to shade you at events such as the one you're attending. I saw one at Costco yesterday and they are SPF 50. You'll still want sunscreen lotion but you'll be really protected!

We have a canopy for events. I stayed under it for a lot but even using sunscreen today a lot, I am burnt again.

Oh no! The sun must be intense there! Maybe the canopy only provides shade, not any particular protection from the sun?

Good job going from an XL to an L - That's satisfying!
