Wahoo! I'm sure it won't last but I'm down another whole lb since yesterday. Yay me! 2.4 lbs more and I'm down 20. I can't wait.

Monkey is doing better. We went for a walk last night with the pup and I ended up giving her a piggy back the last half mile because she'd had enough. It was a good workout for me so I'm ok with it. She's about 43 lbs of dead weight because she can't get her legs around my hips very well and I'm not fond of the choke hold. It'll be fun when I'm slimmer and she can grab with her knees better.

My goal dress got here last night and it is so pretty. Physically looking at the size that will mark the half way point in my loss makes it actually seems doable. How bout them apples? I still need to figure out an occasion to wear it for, or maybe I'll just invite some friends out for dinner or something. I've got a couple of months to figure it out.

Grandma and I still aren't talking. After her serious lashing I'm pulling the passive aggressive bit and it even drives me nuts. So I did the dishes, swept and mopped, and went to my room. Can't fault me for that now can she? But its not extending my hand to say that I forgive her and thats not the right thing either. I'm just not ready yet.

A positive side effect has been less TV watching for me. This is doing me a whole world of good. I've been more inclined to go to bed at a decent hour after spending good quality time with DD. The dog is happy because rather than waiting till after the kid is in bed we go out right after dinner for a little longer than normal.

Also I've been making sure to sit at the table for dinner with DD every night instead of plopping myself on the couch with her in the dining room and I love our conversations. Last night was about all the fun things she has planned for her play date tomorrow. The imagination on that child is astounding. Ok, so astounding is a bit over the top since kids are supposed to be wildly imaginitive, but I'm impressed.

Overall I think I'm feeling back on track. Thanks to my buddies who have given me a few thoughts to keep me upbeat! I appreciate your comments and your words make a difference. I hope I'm able to do the same for you as well.
