Sooo, this may be a bit long, but with so much going on in my life, I just need a few minutes to um, vent. I need to find a better way to deal with stress besides overeating, and this weekend was TERRIBLE in that respect. I did some meal planning for the week, which didn't go as planned - can't even remember what we did for dinner Friday. Two of my grandkids were sick, and so was the DH. However, we DID put some earnest money down on a lot, so looks like we're really doing this - we're really going to have a house built (no pressure!). We did agree on the "Jordan" style house, with 3 bedrooms and a "flex room" for the study. Still no real idea what we're going to do with that third bedroom just yet. That flex room is costing nearly $5K more! Naturally, we kind of celebrated at Texas Roadhouse yesterday, costly for both calories and cash!

Saturday night I dreamed I was in an apartment that had been rented to someone else, and I had to LEAVE! A reality we could be facing. My daughter (the one getting a divorce) has been talking about buying our current home; well Sunday she went to look at some new homes & found one she "almost" loves: 4 bedroom, close to her job & in a good school district, and she's pretty sure she can afford it. The downside: bedrooms are so small, and she doesn't think the two girls can share a room. Like DH, she wants an "office." Plus it will be farther from the kid's Dad. We told her she needed to let us know by March 1 if she's buying our house or not. It would be convenient for us if she does, since we won't really have to move. But if not.... Honestly, if it wasn't for the pets (2 cats & one big outdoor dog) we'd just get one of those rent-by-the-month apartments. So that's what's going on in MY life, going to try to get back on some semblance of a diet today. Wish me luck!
