So it's been 14 months since I started on my trek for a healthier lifestyle and I have had good months and bad months. I have tried different diets and they have all worked well to give me the boost I needed to keep on my feet. The atkins diet was a good stepping stone for giving myself a good start, after that I followed just a nutritional approach to the eating and when I needed another kick start when I had stalled out I used slimfast for two weeks. I have realized that at times my body just stalls out and needs something to give it a kick start. I am so close to my goal I can hardly contain my excitement. I have dropped from a size 20 to a size 12 and I am 30 lbs away from my goal I started out at 238 and want to be 135. I find that exercise seem's to be my vice. I can't seem to get enough of it since I started attending the gym. I love the rush I get from a hard work out, feeling each muscle burn as I push it harder, even the sweat pooring off my face is a victory for me. I have been attending the gym since October of 08 and I have not been a new years drop out! :) Nothing is nicer than looking at myself in a mirror now and actually seeing my body taking on a new shape, seeing my muscles become more and more toned, I have curves now where they belong! I need to update my picture soon.
