Why is it sometimes when you get going good, you start slacking? I was doing amazing. I was following Phase 1 to a T and then I was able to add meat in Phase 2 then that is where I lost control. I guess I liked the rules in Phase 1 and that I had to follow them or it really wouldn't work. Now, I am really trying to stay good but my mind wants to keep saying, "That's ok if you slip because you can start back up when you are done having this doughnut". However, I have had quite a few of these slips lately. I really do not want to mess this whole thing up. Please give me some advice. Thank you all!!!!!

I do the same thing although on a different diet. Try writing a meal paln for each day and sticking to it. So youve made sensible choices that arent spur of the moment and you can stick to it coz its still classed as strict. good luck

I am in the same boat and I agree with caity. Having a set meal plan works and if you have an event or special occasion it's important to realize what difficulties you will face before hand so that you'll be able to avoid cheating yourself at the event. I try to remember what Dr. Ian said...you are only cheating yourself, sometimes this helps me to put the doughnut down or pick up an apple instead. Keep it up, we will make it through and keep smashing!!! You have done great!

I am in the same situation where I lost almost 7 pounds on the first cycle and have had issues off and on with sticking to it. You (and I) just have to keep asking if a little sacrifice is worth all you will get in return. I think it is!

I agree. My motto is a Fresh start. I have been doing great on this diet. But this week I've stalled. I will be going back to phase one to hopefully give my self a boost to get back on track. Good Luck with your Fresh Start. I'm sure you will do great.
