**Just a warning, long journal!!**

Peach! Yes!

It was a crazy weekend! On Friday night, two of my friends and I went to a hookah bar, and sat around like the catterpillar in Alice and Wonderland, ate hummus and smoked hookah. I got a mix of strawberry and banana, my friends Ashley and Amanda shared white peach. The hummus was really good, but I was scant in my use of the pita. I cannot remember when the last time I had non light bread. This place is also BYOB, so we had a bottle of Sangria so we drank a little bit. It was fun, the holidays had been crazy and the three of us have had a hard time getting together because of circumstances beyond our control, but it was so nice to just hang out with friends, talk, and have a little to drink.

Saturday, I had to wake up early to bake! I haven't baked in so long I was frightened I'd forgotten how. We have done cupcakes for an art show twice before, where we made cupcakes that imitated well known works of art. So far we've done, Kandinsky, Pollack, Matisse, Warhol, and someone else, at this moment it escapes me. So, I'm up early on Saturday, but I felt like crap. So instead of baking at 10, like was planned, I didn't get over to my friend's house until 12, and we were terribly unmotivated, so we just made vanilla cupcakes with chocolate butter cream frosting, for our families. Good thing this art was an optional thing, no one was going to miss us if we didn't contribute. So, we didn't. Instead at night, my friend (the one that I bake with) and her husband came over to my and Joe's apartment and watched (500) Days of Summer at night. That movie is so good. I really liked it. It was one of my Christmas presents from Joe.

So, for the festivities of having people over, I made cinnamon buns. They were so good, and for those counting points, only 3 points per bun. Everyone had two, because they were so delicious! We ate and watched the movie. I'd seen it before, but when a movie is really good, I tend to drill it into the ground. It was really fun though, and I think that we may be making this movie night into a weekly thing.

Sunday. Again up early, to cook. It was Football Sunday. Friends came over. There was A LOT of food that I made. Nachos, pigs in a blanket, buffalo bites, marinated vegetables, and then for dessert, Fiber One haystacks, and pumpkin pie. I don't want to talk about the outcome of the game. Let's just say that I cried. The food was really good though. And I will share the SUPER SIMPLE 1 point Fiber One haystack recipe.

Ingredients:
1 bag of chocolate chips (you could also use white chocolate chips or butterscotch chips)
1 sleeve of Fiber One cereal

Using the doublt boiler method, melt the bag of chips, when it becomes thin enough to where it will drop off in a thin stream, pour in the sleeve of Fiber One. Coat the Fiber One in the melted chocolate, spoon off into 1/4 servings, and let sit in the refridgerator overnight.

They are DELICIOUS and I love them.

Last night I watched the Golden Globes, I was so happy that Glee won best show! And I went to bed exhausted. That was my weekend. I woke up and I was down. And that makes me very happy.

My Five:
5. Good nights, with good friends
4. Laughing so hard that your stomach starts to hurt.
3. Having people in my life who I trust and trust me in return.
2. Preseason baseball is starting soon
1. Knowing that I don't always have to kill myself to see a little change.

Have a wonderful day and smile!!! :)

Thanks! It's really good. I make it with white chocolate chips, and it almost reminds me of eating a rice krispies treat.

The Haystack recipe sounds yummy, my mom used to make them when I was little and they were always my favorite. I haven't had them in many years : ). Sounds like you had a great weekend!!

WHen I first glanced at your journal the first paragraph was "hookah" and then I saw the sentence "I haven't baked in awhile." Lol. Sounds like you had a great weekend. Knowing you don't have to kill yourself to see a little change: Love that. And I love that art cupcake idea. Sounds like you had a wonderful snackathon. We watched the end of the GLobes. I thought Julia Roberts looked so beautiful. Wow. Not like a plastic botox freak (though I'm sure she's had some). I didn't get the see all of the dresses. I was happy for Avatar. Loved Zoe Saldana (?)'s dress but her hair was awful. Have a good day too.

I loved Zoe Saldana's dress, too! It was one of the only ones that I commented on. It seems so pirate-y to me. Haha about my two unrelated sentences that seemed to go so well together. That was not the case, although New Jersey did just legalize it for medical purposes. lol

Hey! Thanks for adding me. Sounds like you had a good weekend, apart from the football. My mom used to make the Fiber One haystacks, and they are delicious! She'd sometimes put some peanuts in for some extra protein, too.
