I've been moseying along in my own little Keto world, thinking that I'm just doing this to lose weight and I've not no metabolic issues.

I'm listening to a podcast and a Doctor says "Skin Tags can mean insulin resistance". BAM / BOOM / CRASH.... Hold the phone... I've got a neck FULL of skin tags. I've had them for a few years now. I'm still doing the correct thing to help my body heal, I'm just trying to wrap my brain around the FACT that in all likelihood I am actually **Insulin Resistant**. WOAH. Like WOAH. I know the sooner you know the better, but I kinda liked not "knowing".

"If your waist circumference is larger than 40 inches as a male or 35 inches as a female, you’re probably insulin resistant. As a rule of thumb, if you walk toward the wall and the first thing that touches the wall is your belly, you’re insulin resistant. If you have skin tags or thickened browning skin at areas of skin folds, you are probably insulin resistant."

This information is huge. I'm blown away. I mean I knew... but I didn't KNOW. Now I know... and knowing is half the battle. This is my "ah-ha" moment... this is life and for life!
