Today has had a few huge revelations for me. Huge. First off, I committed my life to Christ almost 4 years ago and have found myself getting lukewarm. My Dad sent me a book for Christmas called "not a fan." by Kyle Idleman. I'm a fast reader and normally knock out 400 page books in a week if I go slow. This dinky 200 pager has stopped me in my tracks after every other paragraph. I have realized how far from Him I've gone and am so thankful that I am saved by His grace alone because if it was up to my actions, boy I've failed. "Not because of who I am, but because of what You've done. Not because of what I've done, but because of who You are!"

Second, I haven't been a size 14 since middle school. I bought a sun dress that while being forgiving in some ways will definitely not be worn until it can be worn properly. I'm hoping for spring break!!!! That's going to mean I need to get down to around 200. Onederland anyone? I'm a 20-22 right now so it might be a bit ambitious but I want it. I want it baaad. I also got a pair of matching earrings that I plan to hang in conspicuous places to keep me motivated. Maybe one from my rear view and one from my monitor at work with the dress hanging on my bedroom wall.

Third, Monday my promotion to department manager is final! I've never been in management and this is kind of a surprise for me. I get it by default since the previous manager was promoted out of the department and am left to train the new girl and keep everything running smoothly. Its a big thing for me that they have the confidence in me to keep up since I'm central to the whole company. It may be a small office but we're busy and even with two of us who know whats what there are so many balls in the air sometimes I can't even blink. The task is a bit daunting but today I really got the sense that I'm ready for it.

Lots of things coming together right now and I'm feeling more confident with all of them!
