Back to walking....3.1 miles walked, 2.6 of it with both doggies and DH.
We got our Christmas tree today and I'm quite happy esp. since we didn't get one last year. It's all set up, ready to be decorated (that's by me) so that will be my major project for today. We decided to get a rather large one but to put it up on a table because neither of us could remember if we've had a floor-level tree since we adopted my Collie boy...just don't want to give him any enticements - LOL! Of course, he's house-trained, but I don't know if we've put him through the Christmas tree training, as yet. We just have to ensure that he never thinks of the tree as his own personal bathroom brought indoors.

That's right, Yvonne....cold, rain, snow, sleet, thunder, excessive heat, whatever....makes no difference....NO indoor canine bathroom!! Luckily, he's a pretty smart guy and I think he'll handle this new semi-temptation just fine. I'll have to decorate the tree tomorrow, as I yielded to the call of retail and went out shopping late this afternoon...such fun!!!!

I've never had a problem with a dog peeing on my tree, but I've had more than one cat climb them over the years!

Hey, great job! Poor collie, he probably can't figure out WHY would anybody put something that smells like it absolutely needs peeing on so far out of reach! Good thinking on your part, not sure I would have thought of that? Anyway, I marvel at you going shopping on Black Friday, you are a braaaaavvve woman in my eyes!
