LadyinDenim's Journal, 07 September 2016

The troll is back! He took the time to search for my journal and leave a comment, which I deleted.

He says that I have been here over half a decade yoyoing and my LCHF friends can't help me because it is the blind leading the blind.

My weight history is an open book. You can see I was here briefly in 2010, 2011, and 2012. During that time, I failed on Richard Simmons Foodmover plan, lost weight on a Juice Only Reboot and subsequently gained it back. My journal was set to private during those times.

On May 23, 2016, I started back on fatsecret to improve my health. For some reason, my journal was opened to everyone.

By cutting out sugar and logging my food, I lost 11 lb. Then I started alternate day fasting and lost 18 lb.

From mid July to the end of August, I netted a 5 pound loss with therapeutic fasting and refeeding with carbs.

Now, since September 1, I have lost 5 pounds eating LCHF. Well, I aim for LCHF. I think I still have some tweaking to do.

Anywho, since May 23, I went from 265 to 227. The consistent part is the support from the fs community.

So, thank you for caring. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for supporting. It works.

Even losing ten percent of your body weight has health benefits, and you've exceeded that. Good job! Keep going! I love that even though it hasn't always worked before, you haven't given up and are making it happen now. We should all applaud you for that! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

You know what works for you, that's the important part. Forget some moron who thinks they know you better than you do!

I've seen a lot of success stories here on FS. A lot of the "blind leading the blind." As you say, caring, sharing and supporting. Good for you for deleting the trolls. Yes, applause is due. 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏

You can figure out what works for you may not work for Sally. Some idiots always try to spoil things. Stay true and weather the storm! We started in Feb with Paleo, then kinda went Primal, then......KETO for the last 2 months. I am satisfied with my results!

If it's the blind leading the blind, then count me in! We've got an incredibly supportive cohort who also happen to be incredibly knowledgable and successful dieters. So, Lady, you can hold my hand and we'll lead each other, because we're both winners at losing!

Hey it is the troll that is a looser, not you. He sure has no friends here that's for sure.

No. Am clearing out some posts from this thread before I open it back up. There are particular vulnerabilities I wish to protect from potential harassment.

I know the support and feedback I get here are invaluable to me. The accountability, too. Drama queens and trolls are all over the internet. Fortunately, they are easy to ignore, if you choose to do so.
