Good Morning, world!
Unfortunately I got a little tied up after work yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to put together a picture for FS. BUT. Guess who doesn't have work tomorrow?? That's right! I have an entire day to do errands and whatever I want. That's going to include going to the bank, going to YOGAAAAA and putting up a picture :)

I feel like I have a pretty health filled, protein packed day ahead of me. I had an egg sandwich this morning for breakfast... boy, do I love eggs. I've been using a protein shake as a meal replacement in the mornings for the last week, and I'm not sure how I feel about them. A lot of FS members talk about how they feel so unbelievably full after they have a shake, and don't snack for hours. I, on the other hand, feel like I get hungrier much more quickly if I have a shake for breakfast. Plus, they're definitely not as satisfying :( I definitely prefer a nice, hot, egg sandwich (no bacon or cheese! still healthy :)) Plus I have leftover chicken tacos for lunch. YUM!

I hope everybody is doing well! I'm in a particularly good mood today, probably because today is like my Friday. Three day weekend, my parents are coming to visit me, and my older brother who I haven't spent time with in ages will be here tomorrow! He's driving down from NY with two of our friends to take the Philadelphia Fire Department Exam on Saturday. My parents will be here Saturday night, and they're all sticking around just to watch my race :) I feel very, very loved! (Miss you little bro! wish you weren't stuck in Rochester at school). My parents are taking all four of us, as well as my boyfriend, out to dinner on Saturday night before the big race. I'm excited to spend some family time together because we get so little, but I have to be VERY careful of what I eat the next few days. Any kind of upset stomach, even the tiniest bit, can seriously aggrevate me during the race. And that would not be good. I'll just stick to some simple carbs, simple proteins, and little fat.
