Day 2 (of 14) - Low Carb High Fat

Feeling really great! I managed to drink about 80-90 oz of water yesterday. Dinner was great! Our dinner was very LCHF complaint. I made mashed potatoes for my SO and kid, I did not have any (didn't even lick the spoon while cooking). I did have a sweet craving between dinner and bed. Usually I would eat a pack of fruit snacks. But I avoided it. I had a cup of herbal mango tea instead. It was a little odd not have any sugar in it. But it seemed to help. So I call it a win.

The scale says 195 - I know it's water weight (I think I visited the bathroom about 15 times yesterday). But still, it's in the correct direction and makes me feel proud. I told my SO this morning of my scale victory. He said "you've never lost that much weight that quickly before". So maybe this will help encourage him to give LCHF a try.

My morning cup of tea (with 10g of weighed sugar); seemed really sweet this morning. Not sure I'm ready to do away with my morning tea yet, but I'm thinking about it. It would have brought my carbs down to 20g yesterday.
