So for health reasons I decided to go on a complete plant based diet. Started last monday on the 8th. I weighed in this morning and noticed I've dropped 6lbs. I'm sure most of that is water weight though.
285.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 85.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

My diet is mostly plant based (Semi Vegetarian) and the pounds are dropping off. I do eat meat once/week. Most of it could be water since you've just started, but it is a good start.
