YAYYYYYYYYYYY!! Painting complete, we can now add another item to the list of things that I never want to do for a living! The house looks great, Mom is pleased (she actually had NO complaints of any type) It has been so unrelentingly hot, but we pressed on because the forecast is for storms for the next three days, we had just gotten the windows uncovered and the equipment cleaned and put away when the first one hit this evening. It's a good thing it was so hot, paint dried almost as soon as it was applied so no worries about it washing off :)

Due to the heavy work and sweating, we had a fruit weekend, a watermelon, a cantaloupe, a honeydew, cherries has been our re-hydrating breaks with a cool salad in the evenings. Oddly enough, the fruit seemed to kill out the heat exhaustion that was working us over Friday evening! My carbs are a bit high, but I don't think that is going to matter this time around. I'm still under my RDI and I don't feel parched and overheated. So it must have been the proper way to cool down and re-energize.

Hope you guys had a great weekend, I'm looking forward to a week of no after work projects!

Deb - that sounds like quite an accomplishment! Nothing like working hard in the heat to help you drop a few pounds. great for the skin too! Good for you!

You are a stone throw from goal. Maybe a pebble skip. Good observation on the fruit.

Ah a painting project! It is hot ... much more humid where you are than here in the VA mountains ... and it's plenty humid here. Well done on finishing a project. I have so many ... I need to get busy. I am so proud of your weight loss. GOOD HEAVENS! You had just gotten under 200 lbs when I was last here in June. GREAT WORK!

Mom I have been taking total advantage of the free steam sauna that the State of Georgia has been experiencing for the past month, I think I sweated all of that weight off!

Wow....that's an amazing accomplishment! My siding needs power washing, but there's no way I'm going out in this heat to do it! I can live with green streaks until fall. LOL The fruit was probably exactly what your body needed to replace water, electrolytes and vitamins sweated out. You continue to impress, Deb!
