Due to my mom's sudden passing Sept 3, I dropped my proper eating habits. In that time I gained 23 pounds. I have learned, omitting all white carbs is not a truly effective way to lose weight, for the moment you stop for whatever reason, you gain it all back VERY quickly.
So, I began my Low Carb diet again, on November 4th. I will pretty much stick to the rules, but will from time to time, have peas, carrots and those things that we are told spike blood sugar levels. I am fine with the slower weight loss, as it means I will most likely keep the weight off.
I know my mom and dad would be disappointed in me if they knew I gained 23 pounds because of being sad. (Both are no longer with me, my dad died, 17 years ago this November 10).
So here's to a new start and to achieving my goal of 125 pounds.
