Have to pat myself on the back, actually had lunch out yesterday and had a Diet
Coke. Day 11 of no wine, watching what I eat. Has been pretty easy so far, taking out carbs, adding protein, back to my old ways when I lost 85 pounds.

I hate that I gain weight so easily! I blame bio mother, in the 50's they fed babies like hogs, a fat baby was a sign of a healthy baby and I really had fat rolls. Have fought my weight my entire life, I can easily gain 5 pounds in one day. After a while in becomes a pain having to be soooooo careful.

You just get sick of having people like my friend who weighs 110 pounds soaking wet and has never had a moment of needing to watch her weight say "I saw a plus size store that looks kinda nice". Really! Or do you really want to eat that bread? (What are you the bread monitor?) Yes I called her my friend because it doesn't occur to her that she is being offensive having never walked in my shoes.

I have learned to be tolerant of people who do mindless comments, well enough for today.

This weekend the gym!
235.2 lb Lost so far: 7.8 lb.    Still to go: 40.2 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I have a few friends and relatives who are naturally very slim, have never had to diet and have no concept of any part of it. One of them was eating a Yoplait yogurt and noted that it had 100 calories and asked "isn't that a lot?" Oh, where to begin! But indeed, they just don't know so you have to shrug off any offense you might feel.

Sometimes those comments are intended to be 'supportive', not hurtful. I just take them in the spirit of that outlook and keep doing what I do.

Good job! Keep doing what you know you should, and ignore the "helpful friends!" In most cases, they really do think they are helping, and it's not worth getting upset about!
