alllicat's Journal, 16 December 2009

Okay, it wasn't as terrible as I thought it would be. Thanks, Momoftwogirls, for letting me be whiny for about a minute and then putting things into perspective for me.

I've revamped my breakfast this morning, so hopefully this will be a bit better, and will give me the things I need, plus lower calories, which is good. I'm starting to look into healthier alternatives. So, hopefully next week around weigh in, I won't get so sad.

So another 2.2lbs, which makes me happy. I got really lazy with the exercise this week, but that was because of the weather. I can't stand being cold. This week, no excuses! NONE! There will be walking or some other sort of exercise EVERYDAY no matter what! I'm the master of my own destiny.

Okay, I'm back to being excited again, and no more whoa is me journal entries for a while. I'm back on the wagon, and I'm here to stay!!!

Wow--another 2.2 lbs. That's great. Getting some decent cold weather gear really makes exercising outside easier. It helps a lot if you can get the lightweight, non-bulky moisture-wicking kind of exercise tops/hats/gloves, etc. I always feel more motivated when I'm wearing real "gear." (Land's End had a lot of that stuff on sale recently--not sure if they still do. I also check out running stores this time of year as they start to put their stuff on sale and they carry functional things that will keep you warm no matter what.) It makes me feel like a real athlete even though I'm not. My favorite piece of cold weather gear is my Runderwear. The name makes me laugh. I am also back on the wagon after a bunch of woe-is-me journals and I'm feeling much better.

My friend used to work for Victoria's Secret, and she was in charge of their fitness/exercise line, so I got alot of good stuff at deep discounts when she worked there, so I have that kinda stuff. I just wish that I lived somewhere that it didn't get this cold. I know, I could live in Alaska or out in Iowa (with madaboutmoose), so I shouldn't be complaining. I'm just cold. Brr..pretty much all the time.

Your upset about losing 2.2 lbs?? I'll take that every week!!! And yeah, living in a cold weather state sucks - I hate it! Wana move to Florida with me?? @ MomofTwoGirls: My boyfriend's mother lives in Florida and every summer we go for 10 days! One year we went to Disney for THREE days. Now I'm a Disney fanatic, and I told him, that 3 day weren't enough. Let's just say, I couldn't walk for a week after that because of all the pain I had in my legs. But, it sounds like a WONDERFUL way to exercise!!
