Hey fellow Texan, just saw your post about it snowing. Are you in the Dallas area? I live down in College Station area, Whoop! Didn't the Aggies, while we still ran out of time, play a great game Thanksgiving against tu :) Anyway, nothing but cold dreary rain here, maybe snow flurries on Friday evening. Great job on the running, but can't you get some long exercise pants for future runs :) When is the marathon again and where? I am only targeting 5Ks so far. Hope to run another in the Spring.

That is definitely great news!! I know 2 lbs. is a huge difference. I can always see and feel it when I've gained a lb. or 2. It sucks! Here's to getting back to your low weight soon. Crazy runner!!! That's so cool about the snowflakes. I've never been witness to snow fall. I'm also sad I can't see that file you posted. : (

@ Zero: I actually grew up in the Dallas area, Farmersville, north east of Rockwall. They are calling for snow in College Station area tonight and tomorrow. It is definitely "cold".
@ Lala: You are not really missing much with the snow. I lived in Amarillo after college and we received the first Christmas I was there 24 inches of snow. We had a storm come through that dumped 10-12 inches, then moved south and then got pushed back to Amarillo and dumped another 10-12 inches. It was crazy. I had 6 foot snow drifts along my house. We have a picture of me, 5'2" standing in the middle of my front yard holding a yard stick that measured 24 inches. When you grow up in the Dallas area where they shut things down if they think it is going to ice and snow, it was very different the 6 years in the Panhandle where I drove many days to work in the blowing snow. I think schools shut down maybe once the entire time I was there.

Out running in the cold? I envy you. It dips below 50, and I'm running for the layers. And I live in the Northeast...the worse is yet to come. Although I can't believe Texas had snow before New Jersey.
About the marathon training!! Good for you! I wish that I had that sort of determination!! Good luck!

Wow, I officially hate the combination pizza hut and taco bell. All those rats and weird people. Obviously if I eat there I will become like those people. You have freed me from my addiction. You have also kersploded my brain.
