Had a bad night last night with my BF going to the hospital so on the walk home a ate sunflower seeds... I know I haven't added them yet but I needed something after the stressful night and instead of munching on carbs I ate some seeds instead...

I always loved sunflower seeds as a snack. It seems you can eat tons of them and still stay low carb. The only concern for most is the salt content making you retain water. Congrats on picking a low carb snack!

Missy - Sorry about your BF. Hope everything is OK. Sunflower seeds are a good choice. Your daughter might like them too.

Buffy, Everything is ok now...it's a long story behind his health. They were already shelled and roasted so 1 carb per serving.
Karen, I drank a 20 oz bottle around the same time :)

Icy, I was proud especially since we had stopped at a gas station so their wasn't much for good choices.

Once I got a low carb meal at 7-11. wasn't exactly the best meal, but i managed with a hot dog (no bun), dill pickle and some peanuts (that was early on for me) and some cheese. Not nearly enough veggies of course, but it's what they had.
