ktfitzgerald's Journal, 06 October 2011

I’m considering this a journal restart with renewed commitment (inspired by kingkeld). I want to make friends and share encouragement with people. So I’m going to put myself out there and journal regularly - even though it is pretty scary for me. But how can I grow if I never get out of my comfort zone? Right? So, here goes:

For me this “diet” thing is no longer about weight - I’ve been maintaining for several months now. It’s about being healthy, strong and energetic. And reconnecting with things I love as well as discovering new things to love. That’s not to say that I don’t need encouragement, because I DO! I need encouragement to make time for exercise that isn’t hiking, kayaking or sailing which I can only do on the weekends.

I’m going to make it a goal to write something here every weekday, read others journals and comment with positive comments (inspired by sk1nnyfuture). So I’m asking for your help guys. Keep me accountable and give me some feedback.

Good for you KT... Sounds like you are aiming to live life to the full and for that you need to be fit and healthy. I know what you mean about the hiking, sailing and kayaking (not that I do that stuff lol) you do need something other than that, as it's not always possible to take off for a day or weekend. Plus you need to be fit and healthy for when you have got the time to do it. Good luck on your continued journey - I shall watch out for your journals :-)

I'm so happy to have inspired you. You make me proud. I think it's great that you get "out there" and journal - it keeps your eye on the ball. Sure, none of us have something interesting to say EVERY day, but just write something, anything will do. I know you read my journal, so you know how much babbling I do :) I will be here with encouragement, postiveness, clever advice and smart-ass remarks. :) You inspire me!
